With over 28,000 members and growing daily, welcome to Southern Farming.  Farmers talking to farmers about raising crops in the Deep South.  This group was created from a class project while enrolled in the LSU Ag Leadership Development Class #12.  Long live the "dirty dozen".

In this group, we have some of the best farmers in the world.  We have members from as far West as Texas, far North as Canada, as far East as the Atlantic Coast, and even from Australia, New Zealand, the U.K, Brazil, Israel, Romania, and France.  Thank you to everyone that participates in this forum.  Growing crops in the Deep South can many times be very challenging.  We are faced with variables that aren't experienced in other parts of the US.  It's great for us to share our experiences.

The videos and photos sent to us by members are wonderful and very interesting to see.  Please share these wonderful videos to our YouTube channel for others around the world to see and experience.  It's great to reveal to others how a safe and reliable food supply is produced.
